Phase 4 in the Expedition Project is where a lot of people hit the wall. You're rolling along, feeling like your runs actually matter, then the game asks for Frequency Modulation Boxes and suddenly you're staring at empty shelves. If you're already burning through kits and credits, it can start to feel like you need ARC Raiders Coins just to keep up, but the real fix is changing how you search, not how much you spend.
Where they actually show up
Here's the annoying part: you can't brute-force this on every map. Right now, you want Exodus Points of Interest, and the map that consistently lines up with that is Stella Montis. It's not a cozy farming zone either. It's loud, it's busy, and it attracts players who'd rather fight than loot. Still, if you're hunting these boxes, you'll get more value by focusing your route instead of wandering. Aim for three areas first: Assembly, Business Center, and Medical Research. Hit them in that order when spawns allow, because Assembly and Business Center are quicker to sweep, and Medical Research can be a bit of a time sink if you arrive late.
Run light so you don't hate your life
A lot of players make the same mistake: they bring a full "serious" loadout because they expect a serious fight. Then they lose it to a random third-party or a bad angle and log off annoyed. If your goal is a Frequency Modulation Box, don't gear like you're entering a tournament. Go in light, or even naked if you can stand it. No shield, no fancy augments, nothing you'd be mad about losing. You're not trying to win Stella Montis. You're trying to grab one item and leave with your sanity intact.
Abuse the Safe Pocket, on purpose
Your best tool here isn't a rifle, it's the Safe Pocket. The second you find a modulation box, stash it. Immediately. Don't "finish looting the room." Don't check one more hallway. Pocket it and reset your priorities. After that, your run changes. You can still try to extract if you're close and it's quiet, but you don't have to. If things go sideways, dying is annoying, sure, but it's not a disaster. That's the whole point: you're turning a high-stakes loot hunt into a low-stakes sprint with one win condition.
Stella Montis is still dangerous
Even if you dodge players, the PvE can ruin you when you're undergeared. Pops can catch you when you're greedy. Fireballs punish straight-line running. And Ticks are basically little panic buttons that drag attention to you at the worst times. Move like you're borrowing time. Cut through cover, pause to listen, and don't be afraid to bail out of a POI if it's already been stirred up. Do a few fast attempts instead of one "perfect" run, and you'll stack boxes quicker than you think, which helps a lot if you're also trying to save up or buy ARC Raiders Coins without feeling forced into risky gearing choices.Get ARC Raiders Coins quickly from rsvsr.com, helping you upgrade gear, unlock items, and progress more efficiently.
